EPCIC to provide a Fuel Gas Treatment Package to Coastal Energy at their SKL-A (EP-1) Platform, Songkhla field, in the Gulf of Thailand. It was designed on conventional technology and consisted of cooling, compression and dehydration to K/O all liquids to <1PPM and deliver a Methane fuel content of not less than 61%. Main Components included: Air Cooler (Fin fan cooler); Gas Compressor Pkg; Refrigeration Chillers; Dehydration Pkg. incl. regeneration; Piping Work; Electrical and Control System (PLC). See below.

Included is The Makkah Gas Turbine Plant for which we were the EPCM Contractor. The scope included for three new 10,000m³ gas storage tanks to increase the fuel storage capacity at the Makkah power station. Specifically this included three 29m diameter and 17m high storage tanks. BLE provided multi-discipline design engineering including SCADA necessary to seamlessly integrate
these new tanks with the existing plant infrastructure. Also included was the provision of foundation designs for two additional tanks for the storage of distillate fuel.
